The booked matched grain on arms have a light varnish finish, the rest, unfinished. The arm assemblies come pre assembled, just screw on the cross slats. Instructions included. You'll need a screw gun. All parts guaranteed against breakage.Comes in 2 boxes by UPS. Will take a full futon. Look at pictures!! DON'T BE TEMPTED BY CHEAP METAL FRAMES WITH SO CALLED "HARDWOOD ARMS". THIS FRAME IS MADE IN THE USA WITH QUALITY SPRUCE! Can be ordered with roll out drawers like this. Made of 1/2" Birch veneer plywood, finished on the front and sides. NOT CHEAP JUNK, these are heavy-duty and have real casters! Requires simple assembly. A real space saver!
