Isa" Planer for surfacing raw wood Dear Gus, Just set the platform bed up with the help of a friend with a drill.  It couldn't have taken us more than 20 minutes total to put this king-size frame together.  IT IS GREAT!!!  The craftmanship easily rivals that of a furniture store and just seems so much more sturdy than anything else I've seen out on the market.  I also appreciate all the hardware you included and for the pre-drilled holes to make things easy.  All I have to do now is wait for my king-size futon mattress to arrive and my bedroom is complete. I can't thank you enough for the work you did.  I'll send pictures as soon as I'm able to. Since I custom make each bed, I can make it as low as you want. Otherwise, the deck is 12" high and the mattress is recessed 2" below that. It comes in 3 boxes, the heavest one about 70#. assembly is just "follow the numbers"  and screw with a power drill. One single Mom can do it for sure!  A queen size is 72"wide x 82" long. Shipping depends on where you live.
