Custom made, the 'Tiller" platform bed
|
Cherry platform bed The "Tiller" bed |
NOTE!
All the beds on this page do not have a deck around the mattress.
The "Tiller" bed celebrates nature by capturing the beauty of the wood itself. The matching vertical grain
end pieces of the headboard highlight life and upward growth, while the horizontal center section, rejuvenation and rest.
There is no deck, but the mattress is cantilevered with no visible support or legs to stub your toe on. The attached tables
also are cantilevered, adding to the floating look. Colored lights under the overhang add spice.
The "tiller" bed as shown in selected Cherry wood, $6000

Walnut platform bed |

Floating design without a deck |
|
this platform bed outfitted with 4 drawers and lights |
This solid Black Walnut platform bed above, is a variation of the Tiller bed.
It has no deck, so it saves space, but still has a cantilevered overhang for a floating look. Drawers and lights can
be fitted under the mattress. This one has a short headboard.
This Teak platform bed has 4 drawers and is designed for a Tempur Pedic type mattress.
Hi Gus,
We wanted to let you know that we are absolutely delighted with the bed you built for us!
Our bed arrived last Friday morning and with two people took about 3 hours to set up (this
was after the hour it took to unpack and then haul it up to the 2nd floor!). The bed was very easy to put together.
You've really designed it well Gus. Also we love the attention to detail that you put into our bed especially the lighting.
Finding all the clips for the lighting already installed was a real nice touch and made it super easy to install them.
Better yet, the lights worked the first time (can't tell you how many times something we've had installed didn't work the
first time!) and they make such a grand effect. It is so nice to finally have our mattress off of the floor and
it is exactly the height we wanted as well!
I am so very glad I found your website Gus. You made the whole experience of ordering
from you easy and affordable. Furthermore, you had the basic idea of the type of bed I wanted, and then just by talking
with you, you were able and willing to "tweak" it to my exact specifications. I will be showing off my bed to my friends
and family and if any are interested will happily recommend you to them!
Best regards!
Shari and Ken
